Job Description

Job Requirements:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT support.

 

Job Summary:

Responsible for provide user support, installing and maintaining computer hardware, software and networks. Ensure that the below Roles and Responsibilities are carried out in accordance with recognized working practice and company’s Quality Manual and Policy.

 

Job Responsibilities:
 

Technical Support: 

  • Respond promptly to user inquiries and support requests via phone, email, or in person.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for various applications and systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
     

System Administration: 

  • Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
  • Perform routine system maintenance and updates.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Assist with network administration tasks as needed.
     

Problem Solving: 

  • Analyse and troubleshoot complex technical problems.
  • Identify and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions for future reference.
     

Customer Service: 

  • Provide excellent customer service to end-users, ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical users.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanour.
  • any other related responsibilities assigned by direct manager.

 

Knowledge and Skills:
 

  • Strong understanding of computer hardware and software.
  • Proficiency in common operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Experience with network troubleshooting and administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Technician) are preferred.
