Job Description Summary
The role of the Change and Design Consultant is to design and update change, business, and curriculum content across the division, archetypes and platforms. Working across multiple projects, to develop learning that engages and excites learners whilst solving a business problem.

The role requires the following skills:
- Communication – Skilled in using various communication techniques to gather detailed information.
- Storytelling – ability to use an appropriate tone of voice and writing style to meet the objectives of the learning content.
- Resilience wellbeing & adaptability- to work at pace and manage competing priorities with the ability to multi-task and work individually with minimal guidance.
- Colleague Experience – learner centric decision making with a digital focus, whilst aligning to wider business strategies.
- Design Technical Skills - including human-centred design expertise to create and update impactful learning using authoring tools including Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise and Adobe Premier Pro and M365.
- Creativity & Innovative Thinking – using a design thinking approach to improve user experience, coupled with excellent visual design skills.
- Agile Methodology – adapting and learning through iterations and sprints, either individually or as part of a team.
- Learning & Talent Development –appreciating how a positive learning experience impacts our colleague's performance and wellbeing.
- Design new and update existing Learning content incorporating a multitude of learning theories and blended delivery methods , creating a best-in-class experience for the learner.
- Simplify complex information into clear and easy to understand learning content.
- Creation and development of scripting prior to content design following agreed standards with a real focus on making the right strategic design choice.
- Create new and update existing innovative and immersive learning and be proficient in using authoring tools including Articulate, some Adobe Creative Cloud applications, and M365 amongst others.
- Create new and update existing knowledge tests using Articulate.
- Adhere to risk and governance standards for all design activity.
- Demonstrate a curious mindset and a strong desire to incorporate emerging learning innovation / tools, including AI based software such as Synthesia and PowToon amongst others.
- Ensure a ‘curation first’ principle is applied to all requests, ensuring maximum value is obtained via our curated content providers.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure all material is accurate in terms of both content and grammar fully adhering to the Group’s brand and design standards.
- Embrace a culture that is fully inclusive, focuses on agility and pace to continually improve and create efficiencies, fully aligned to Platforms culture, tools and methodology.
- Drive own development plan to continually grow their skills today and for the future.
