1- Warns swimmers of improper activities or danger and enforces pool regulations and water safety policies.
2- Administers first aid in the event of injury, rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning and administers CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary.
3- Evaluates conditions for safety and initiates aquatics emergency action plan as required.
4- Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.
5- Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor.
6- Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to management and security/safety personnel.
7- Complete appropriate safety training and certifications to perform work tasks.
8- Follow property specific procedures for handling emergencies (e.g., evacuations, medical emergencies, natural disasters).
9- Follow policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines.
10- Ensure the first aid kit is refilled weekly.
11- Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises.
12- Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury.
13- Follow Hazardous Material Management Program procedures for handling and disposing of chemicals, fertilizer, pesticides, blood borne pathogens, etc.
