Logistics Manager (Customs & Import Operations)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Logistics Manager with expertise in customs clearance, import/export regulations, and container shipments for Pakistan. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with customs documentation, clearance procedures, and import laws while ensuring smooth and cost-effective logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Customs Clearance & Compliance – Manage and oversee the entire import process, ensuring smooth clearance of goods, accurate documentation, and adherence to Pakistan Customs regulations.

· Shipping & Freight Management – Handle container imports, liaise with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and transport providers to optimize delivery timelines and minimize costs.

· Documentation & Legal Compliance – Prepare, review, and submit import/export documentation, including Bill of Lading, GD Filing, Commercial Invoices, HS Codes, Sales Tax & Duty Calculations, and Bank Payments.

· Supply Chain Coordination – Ensure timely movement of shipments from ports to warehouses, coordinating with custom agents, transporters, and warehouse teams.

· Cost & Risk Management – Track and analyze shipping costs, duties, and taxes to optimize expenses and ensure full regulatory compliance.

· Regulatory Updates & Policy Adherence – Stay up to date with the latest import/export policies, customs tariffs, and international trade regulations affecting logistics operations.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)

· 2+ years of experience in import/export, customs clearance, and logistics management

· Strong knowledge of Pakistan’s import/export laws, customs documentation, and HS Code classification

· Hands-on experience with international shipping, freight forwarding, and customs clearance processes

· Excellent negotiation skills for dealing with shipping lines, customs agents, and suppliers

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/logistics management software
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Timings: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Ramzan Timings: 10:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
