Job Description

Job Purpose:

To translate policy research into creative thematic concepts for summits


Key Result Areas:

  • Lead development of long-term strategic content plans aligned with QF policy and communications goals
  • Drive the research and development of content programs that support QF objectives, ensuring creative and engaging live experiences
  • Build and implement strategic frameworks for selecting themes, topics, speakers, and program formats
  • Ensure alignment between creative content strategies and organizational priorities; translate complex policies into audience-centric programs
  • Oversee content research and development, curating thematic content that integrates policy themes into captivating live programs
  • Develop innovative live formats to present complex policy topics and foster audience engagement & impact
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including policy centers, creative teams, and external partners, to ensure content aligns with strategic priorities
  • Manage relationships with subject matter experts, speakers, and thought leaders, facilitating their contribution to curated programs
  • Drive the creative development of thematic concepts, managing the editorial framework to ensure quality, creativity, and strategic alignment
  • Manage the selection of speakers, moderators, and topics for summits and events, ensuring relevance to the audience and alignment with strategic goals
  • Monitor the implementation and impact of content strategies, refining approaches through iterative planning and feedback loops
  • Utilize analytics tools to assess content effectiveness, generating insights and reports to inform future strategies
  • Review and approve creative briefs, production schedules, and drafts, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with the Creative Production Manager to ensure seamless delivery during live events and summits
  • Coordinate with the QF Policy Hub and Communications teams to ensure integrated content strategies and delivery timelines
  • Develop and implement crisis communication plans to address unexpected disruptions during live events
  • Monitor projects and summits and ensure that they are executed according to timelines & budgets, and that they achieve the desired outcomes
  • Analyze data and generate post-event reports to guide the development of future strategies and content approaches
  • Lead cross-functional teams, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure consistent delivery of impactful programs
  • Plan workload distribution to achieve maximum efficiency, monitoring progress to ensure adherence to timelines
  • Conduct operational review meetings with the team to track task progress and project status
  • Supervise day-to-day project operations; review reports on activities and project outcomes and present to senior management
  • Manage administrative matters related to staff, including leave approvals, performance appraisals, and professional development
  • Motivate and guide employees to excel individually and as a team
  • Manage the formulation and development of the annual business plan, KPIs (key performance indicators), scorecards, and departmental budgets
  • Lead the audit process and implement corrective actions based on audit findings
  • Support administrative functions, ensuring alignment between the QF Policy Hub and Communications teams to maintain integrated content strategies and delivery timelines
  • Monitor project status and ensure alignment with organizational goals


Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • 8-10 years of relevant full-time work experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Experience and expertise in strategic planning and creative content curation in a large organization
  • Exceptional leadership, team management, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans
  • Expertise in budget management, contract negotiation, and efficient use of resources
  • Expertise in crisis communication frameworks, risk management, and high-level project execution
  • Familiarity with multimedia platforms and innovative event formats
  • Proficiency in analytics tools to assess and optimize content effectiveness
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal communication skills for collaborating with senior leaders and external partners
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
