  The Organizational Design Lead is responsible to lead the design and development of jobs and structures in the organization, applying standard systems and processes for job analysis, job evaluation, organizational chart design and organizational change rules. In addition to ensure that jobs and structures are aligned with the strategic business plans and workforce plans of Qatar Foundation (QF) Divisions and Entities in order to enable the delivery of corporate strategic objectives.

   Key Result Areas:
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Lead the design and review the job matrix of all jobs in the organization to maintain internal equity
  </li>
  <li>
   Supervise the application of standard methodology for job creation and job evaluation in designing organizational structures aligned with the workforce plans within the boundaries of the approved staff cost budgets
  </li>
  <li>
   Provide guidance to QF Entities in drafting and reviewing job descriptions as the potential changes of job roles and responsibilities are identified
  </li>
  <li>
   Review and enhance the consistency of job descriptions with internal policies and procedures
  </li>
  <li>
   Apply the standard job evaluation methodology in assigning job grades linked with the compensation and benefits structure of the organization
  </li>
  <li>
   Lead and review job evaluation requests from line management and HR Business Partners, finding out the rational for evaluation in order to ensure appropriate upgrade of roles
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain internal equity across organization wide job evaluations through sound and consistent application of job evaluation framework, standards, processes and tools including in-depth analysis of job context and content, as well as sound rationale and internal comparisons for all job evaluation submissions
  </li>
  <li>
   Apply HAY Methodology in measuring, evaluating, controlling and classifying jobs thereby establishing the basis for ranking jobs across the organization
  </li>
  <li>
   Review and assess job grades across the organisation and compare job contents in order to ensure consistency of grading for similar roles found in different QF Entities
  </li>
  <li>
   Advise on the correct job titles as per the established guidelines in order to ensure consistency and alignment across the organization
  </li>
  <li>
   Identify the areas of improvement in organisational structure by understanding the operations of QF Entities and instrumental in driving efficiency on best practice of workflows
  </li>
  <li>
   Participate in discussions with line management and HR Business Partners in creating optimal organizational design
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain the rules for the organizational structure creation and the rules for the span of control in different business units across QF EntitiesConduct regular audits of the organizational structure and recommend changes to make the organization more efficient
  </li>
  <li>
   Understand the implication of corporate change on organizational design in terms of staffing needs, business systems, etc. and recommend solutions to enhance organizational effectiveness and productivity
  </li>
  <li>
   Provide guidance and expertise by delivering job and organization structure creation training for fostering collaboration with managers and HR Business Partners
  </li>
  <li>
   Design solutions that drive the implementation of complex projects in organisational design and provide suggestions in order to support the change projects and strategies which help realize the QF strategic plan and the specific business plans of diverse QF Entities
  </li>
  <li>
   Participate in cross-functional Human Capital projects and organization wide projects as required
  </li>
  <li>
   Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor

   Minimum Knowledge, Skills &amp; Experience:
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a relevant field and 6-8 years of relevant full-time work experience
  </li>
  <li>
   HR professional qualifications e.g., CIPD, SHRM are preferred
  </li>
  <li>
   Very good knowledge of organisation development and design methodologies and tools; knowledge of HAY job analysis and evaluation methodology strongly preferred
  </li>
  <li>
   Knowledge of business data sources and reporting tools
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent analytical, planning, and time management skills
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficiency in MS Office and Oracle applications
  </li>

Organizational Design Lead

   Responsibilities
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Draft, review and negotiate contractual arrangements, including those with contractors, customers, consultants, suppliers, lessors, shippers, buyers, lenders, etc. to ensure that the Foundation is protected legally.
  </li>
  <li>
   Take a proactive legal role with respect to Finance, Procurement, IT, PR &amp; Marketing and HR issues. Anticipate legal impediments.
  </li>
  <li>
   Keep informed of any incidents that may have legal implications and take action as appropriate.
  </li>
  <li>
   Work closely with lenders' legal representatives to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of loan agreements.
  </li>
  <li>
   Work closely with insurers on loss prevention.
  </li>
  <li>
   Develop contingency plans for worst-case scenarios (losses, environmental damage, etc.)
  </li>
  <li>
   Establish and maintain standards and policies within the Foundation to ensure compliance with a complex legal system .
  </li>
  <li>
   Reconcile Qatari Arabic laws with English contracts and agreements.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ensure that all concerned parties are aware of the legal implications of their actions.
  </li>
  <li>
   Provide advice concerning legal implications present in current and long-range mission plans and programs. Continually review and evaluate the total program for attainment of objectives.
  </li>
  <li>
   Advise on Laws, regulations and opinions of the courts and administrative agencies as well as Administrative Law, Contract, Environmental, Litigation, Fiscal, Civilian, Personnel, Standards of Conduct, Conflicts of Interest, and government ethics matters.

   Qualifications
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Bachelor's degree in Law
  </li>
  <li>
   6-8 years of experience working as a commercial lawyer or a relevant field.
  </li>
  <li>
   Commercial knowledge related to non-profit organizations, preferably gained through working with large public-sector organizations.
  </li>
  <li>
   Outstanding negotiation skills.
  </li>
  <li>
   Should be acquainted with the general conditions of FIDIC.
  </li>
  <li>
   Must maintain knowledge of current legal information in area of expertise as well as in the areas of special laws applicable to not-for-profit foundations and legal issues unique to QF's activities.
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent oral communication skills and excellent writing skills, with the ability to draft/ edit a variety of written reports and communications and articulate ideas clearly and concisely in both Arabic and English
