Job Description

1. Establish and maintain strong, credible relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs),

HCPs, and other relevant stakeholders.

2. Exchange and dissemination of scientific, educational, and research related information:

The MSL plans, prepares and engages with Thought Leaders (TLs – Doctors) as an

information scientist and colleague both proactively and reactively via various innovative TL

engagements tactics and formats. MSLs provide dissemination, clarification and education

of scientific data, study protocols, meeting abstracts, and professional literature (both

proactive discussions on-label, and reactive discussions for unsolicited off-label questions

in alignment with local regulations).

3. Interactions with Medical Societies and Advisory Boards:

The MSL answers medical / scientific queries of Medical Societies with regards to company

products and organizes / supports / participates in advisory boards.

4. Participation at / networking in Congresses and Conventions:

The MSL attends congresses and conventions, interacts with KOLs (Doctors), establishes

new contacts and gathers competitive intelligence.

5. Coordination of Scientific Education Activities:

The MSL plans and organizes scientific training and education events / sessions with KOLs

within their specific therapeutic area or product.

6. KOL identification / profiling / segmentation and strategy and engagement planning:

In alignment with product Integrated Brand Plan (IBP), the MSL contributes to internal

understanding of specific KOL interests and expertise within the medical community at large.

7. Preparation of reports and tracking activities:

Document all MSL activities accurately in accordance with company protocols and

regulatory requirements within VEEVA system.

8. Medical Education and Training:

Maintain a thorough understanding of the scientific and technical aspects of the assigned

products to effectively communicate with HCP/KOLs, Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing) on

scientific aspects of the assigned products and relevant therapeutic areas.

9. Compliance and Ethics:

Ensure all interactions and communications are following local regulations, company

policies, and ethical standards of Pharmaceutical Code of Compliance.

10. Insight Generation:

Collect and report insights from the field to inform marketing, medical and commercial

excellence to develop customer focused strategies using internal reporting systems.

Monitor and report on competitive activities and market trends in the relevant therapeutic

areas by participating and collecting real world feedback.

complex scientific information clearly.

o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

o Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and to build

productive work relationships both internally and externally

o Proficiency in both written and spoken English; knowledge of Urdu and other local

languages are an advantage.

o Willingness to travel extensively within Pakistan

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs90,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
