Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Estimator to join our team at DesignSmith. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects, ensuring accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with project specifications. The role requires strong expertise in plumbing, drainage, and mechanical systems, particularly in residential, commercial, F&B, and retail sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Develop precise and competitive cost estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects.
• Review and analyze project specifications, architectural drawings, and tender documents to determine scope and cost implications.
• Perform quantity take-offs and conduct comprehensive cost analysis to ensure accurate budgeting.
• Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations for materials and services.
• Identify potential project risks and propose value engineering solutions to optimize cost efficiency.
• Work closely with project managers and procurement teams to monitor and control project budgets effectively.
• Ensure all estimates and project costings comply with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices..

Requirements:

• Mandatory UAE experience in MEP estimation.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation tools.
• Familiarity with UAE construction codes and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in estimation software
