SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: CEO

Job Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an organization to ensure efficient processes, optimal productivity, and quality service or product delivery. This leadership role involves strategic planning, managing cross-functional teams, and implementing process improvements.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Planning & Implementation:
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Team Leadership & Management:
  • Supervise, mentor, and lead operational teams; encourage professional growth and high performance.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify areas for improvement, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Budget & Financial Oversight:
  • Manage budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting to ensure optimal resource use.
  • Quality Control & Compliance:
  • Ensure that all operations adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Supply Chain & Inventory Management:
  • Oversee supply chain activities, manage inventory levels, and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs); analyze data to inform decision-making and report to senior management.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
  • Work closely with departments such as sales, finance, and human resources to support overall business goals.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bac or Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related discipline.
  • Industry-specific experience (e.g., manufacturing, logistics, retail).
  • Certifications such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant process improvement credentials.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time role with a dynamic work environment; occasional travel may be required.
  • The position typically reports to a Director of Operations or Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
