noon, the region's leading consumer commerce platform. On December 12th, 2017, noon launched its consumer platform in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, expanding to Egypt in February 2019. The noon ecosystem of services now includes marketplaces for food delivery, quick commerce, fintech, and fashion. noon is a work in progress; we’re six years in, but only 5% done.

What you'll do:


Team noon has some of the fastest, smartest, and hardest-working people we've encountered. With a young, aggressive, and talented team, we're driving major missions forward. As a part of the Heroes team, We are seeking a dedicated and organized person to manage and support a team of approximately 200 delivery riders. The candidate will oversee all aspects of the riders' journey, from onboarding to pre-deployment, ensuring smooth coordination of key processes like medical and visa appointments, driving license bookings, and handling rider inquiries, particularly related to payouts. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will serve as both a manager and guide, ensuring a positive and productive experience for each rider throughout their time with the company.


  • Manage a team of 200+ riders, acting as their supervisor and support system throughout their employment.
  • Take accountability for rider experience excellence and maintain timely COD deposits, reduce absenteeism and ensure a good leave management for the wellbeing of riders.
  • Guide on day-to-day matters and help riders navigate any challenges they encounter.
  • Address and resolve queries related to payouts and other compensation matters in a timely and transparent manner.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for riders, addressing and resolving any questions or issues that arise during work (accidents and RTA issues) or related to the onboarding and pre-deployment phase.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all legal and compliance requirements are met, including medical clearance, visa processing, and DL verification.
  • Maintained accurate records of rider attendance, medical status, visa progress, and driving license status.
  • Regularly communicate with riders to ensure they understand company policies and standards, and to keep them informed of any updates or changes.
  • Gather feedback from riders on their onboarding experience, job satisfaction, and any operational challenges.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in rider support and management processes and collaborate with internal teams to implement enhancements.
  • Monitor rider performance and development, offering mentorship and support to help them succeed in their roles.
  • Coordinate medical and visa appointments for new riders, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed promptly.
  • Oversee the driving license process, including class scheduling, test bookings, and other requirements to ensure each rider is licensed and prepared for their role.


What you’ll need?


  • 3+ years of experience in a people management or operations role, preferably within the logistics, delivery, or transportation industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.

Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple rider-related processes simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively support and guide a large team of riders.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and experience with HR or scheduling software is a plus.
