Job Summary

We are hiring a skilled Mid-Level PHP Developer to take the lead on backend development for a range of web applications. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter) and be confident working across complex backend systems and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance applications using PHP (Laravel, CI).
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Lead code reviews and enforce development best practices.
• Work with cross-functional teams including frontend developers and designers.
• Manage database structure and performance (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Integrate third-party APIs and services (REST/SOAP).
• Identify and resolve backend bugs and performance issues.
• Mentor junior developers and assist in technical planning.

Requirements

• 4+ years of PHP development experience with Laravel, Symphony, or CodeIgniter.
• Solid understanding of OOP, MVC, and design patterns.
• Strong database skills, including SQL query optimization.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, AJAX, and JSON.
• Understanding of Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with frontend technologies like Vue.js or React.
• Familiarity with unit testing and automation tools.
• Prior experience in technical leadership or project management.
