Job Description:

As a PHP Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using PHP frameworks. You will integrate and work with various third-party travel APIs such as booking systems, flight/hotel APIs, and payment solutions. Your work will contribute directly to our travel platform, helping our users book and plan their trips efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using modern PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Integrate and manage third-party travel APIs (e.g., Amadeus, Skyscanner, Travelport, Sabre, etc.).
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration of back-end services and APIs.
• Design and implement secure, efficient, and scalable database structures to support travel-related data.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the application.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, best practices, and trends in the web development and travel industry.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a PHP developer with expertise in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Experience with third-party travel API integrations (e.g., Amadeus, Skyscanner, Travelport, Sabre, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, OAuth, JWT, and other authentication methods.
• Solid understanding of database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Experience with Git for version control and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in the travel industry or with travel-related platforms.
• Knowledge of payment gateway integrations (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
