Job Description
The Role
Our client is leading hospitality, catering, and service provider in the Kingdom, and currently they are seeking for a Procurement Manager (KSA National) to be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate is responsible for supporting and assisting the procurement team in alignment with the overall procurement strategy. This role involves collaborating with the procurement team and suppliers, overseeing procurement activities from purchase order issuance to delivery and settlement, and ensuring the procurement process is efficient and effective. In addition, the Procurement Manager will also play a key role in supplier management, driving operational excellence in daily procurement operations.

Requirements
Roles & Responsibilities: • Oversee the entire procurement process from requisition to payment across all categories and regions. • Manage the process of purchase order issuance, delivery confirmation, tracking deliveries, monitoring invoice submissions, goods receipt issuance, payment tracking, and reconciliation. • Support procurement teams in developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies. • Lead and manage the procurement operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve operational objectives. • Assign tasks to the procurement operations team and ensure efficient and effective task execution. • Drive operational excellence by identifying opportunities for process improvements, implementing best practices, and utilizing technology solutions. • Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and company policies. • Prepare and present reports on procurement operations, including key performance indicators, cost savings, operational efficiency, and supplier performance metrics. • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of procurement-related transactions and payments. • Ensure adherence to company-approved standards, policies, procedures, and processes within procurement operations. • Assist in budget preparation and provide inputs that contribute to improving efficiency and productivity. Qualification & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics or Operations Management • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) is a plus. • 6 - 8 years’ experience in the same role
