Job Summary:
The Product Designer is responsible for designing innovative and aesthetically appealing products for Al Haadi. This includes the development of concepts, prototypes, and finished designs for a range of products. The role combines creativity with technical knowledge to design products that align with the brand’s vision, target market needs, and production capabilities. The Product Designer will work closely with the product development, marketing, and production teams to ensure that designs are functional, feasible, and marketable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Conceptualization & Design:
• Create innovative and functional product designs that align with Al Haadi’s brand identity and target market.
• Develop detailed product sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design concepts.
• Generate ideas that balance aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to refine design concepts based on customer needs and trends.
• Prototyping & Testing:
• Produce physical prototypes or digital samples for testing and refinement of product designs.
• Oversee the testing and evaluation of prototypes to ensure they meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Modify designs based on feedback from testing and production teams to improve product functionality and usability.
• Collaboration with Production & Engineering Teams:
• Work closely with the production team to ensure the feasibility of product designs in terms of materials, processes, and costs.
• Collaborate with engineers and manufacturers to ensure designs are easily translated into production while meeting technical requirements.
• Ensure that the design process is efficient, and that timelines and budgets are met without compromising on quality.
• Market Research & Trend Analysis:
• Stay up-to-date with current market trends, customer preferences, and emerging technologies in product design.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and competitor offerings, using this insight to inform new product designs.
• Attend industry events, workshops, and exhibitions to gain inspiration and keep up with industry standards and new trends.
• Design Documentation & Presentation:
• Prepare and maintain detailed design documentation, including technical specifications, CAD drawings, and product guidelines.
• Create presentations and design proposals for internal stakeholders, providing clear rationale and vision for each design concept.
• Ensure design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines throughout the product development process.
• Sustainability & Cost Optimization:
• Focus on sustainable design practices, incorporating environmentally friendly materials and production methods whenever possible.
• Work within budget constraints and identify opportunities to reduce production costs without compromising product quality.
• Quality Control & Continuous Improvement:
• Ensure that the final products meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
• Monitor the production process and provide feedback to ensure that designs are being implemented as intended.
• Continuously evaluate and refine design processes to improve efficiency, quality, and creativity in future product designs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in product design, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in conceptualization, prototyping, and execution.
• Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design tools.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and production methods.
• Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and product ergonomics.
• Strong creative and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and quality.
• Ability to communicate design concepts clearly to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and production.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and the ability to incorporate them into the design process.

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
