About the team
As an integral part of the ByteDance Real Estate department, the Smart Space team aims to provide employees with a safe, convenient, flexible, cross-border distribution and a comfortable working environment through innovative intelligent hardware applications and space resource planning. To enable continuous improvement of employees' work efficiency and experience, we strive to combine the ByteDance mission, vision and values to create our unique smart workspace.

Responsibilities
1. Define functions, requirements and solutions of Real Estate smart devices, specify testing scenarios, ensure system and platform integration, and drive results for user experience and product onsite delivery.
2. Closely follow industry news, technology trends, and market dynamics of smart devices and platforms, explore use cases and formulate solutions.
3. Independently lead product conception, prototype, workflow and interface design, including feature definition, product requirements documents, project promotion, etc.
4. Coordinate and drive internal R&D teams and external partners across the entire product development process for on-time and high-quality product delivery.
5. Able to independently implement pilot or small-scale projects, can also act as project manager.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or above, with 3+ years of work experience in the field of smart space solutions, familiar with the Internet of Things (IoT) architecture and topology.
2. Familiar with product development process, able to create execution plans for each stage such as prototyping, pilot run, testing, product release and delivery.
3. Equipped with good product sense and a user-centric mindset, and can well understand both B2B and B2C businesses and user needs.
4. Able to independently manage and promote projects, with good communication and coordination skills.
5. Good at capturing industry trends and market dynamics, with business acumen and product insights, and can explore new product opportunities in terms of business needs.
6. Have a global mindset, with excellent communication skills in a global working environment.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Expertise in IoT devices, networks, and systems is preferred. Experience in smart lighting, sensor/vision technology, air quality control, smart furniture, space utilization, etc.
2. Excellent know-how in the Internet of Things (IoT).
3. 0-1 product development experience.
4. Overseas project and MNC working experience.
