Responsibilities:
- Participate in the implementation of the EPMO & MODON strategy and roadmap to support alignment with MODON business units.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify MODON business units required projects and initiatives to meet future business demands.
- Help develop regular reports on business units' projects & initiatives progress and outputs, to be shared with relevant stakeholders in line with reporting requirements.
- Recommend improvements to the EPMO policies and support the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of activity.
- Establish the project governance framework for EPMO & and ensure that projects & initiatives are suitably prioritized and aligned to short and long-term goals of the sector.
- Manage resource allocation and scheduling in line with pre-defined guidelines in order to achieve optimum project efficiency and to accommodate the fast-changing ground realities of the projects.
- Analyze financial data including project & initiatives budgets, risks, and resource allocation and ensure timely reporting of relevant financial information to stakeholders.
- Oversee the achievement of project & initiatives milestones and overall project & initiatives health, and report details to EPMO director at periodic intervals.
- Direct the development and implementation of consistent project tools, templates, and reports that deliver informative performance metrics and other critical information to stakeholders.
- Manage overall scope, schedule, budget, communications, risks, issues, dependencies, governance processes including deliverable management, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, action items, status reports.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining project governance frameworks and methodologies, this includes developing project management standards, processes, and procedures that ensure consistency and efficiency across projects and initiatives.
- Assists in projects and initiatives planning activities such as defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, help develop project schedules, identify resource requirements, and track project progress against defined milestones and targets.
- Responsible for collecting project data, analyzing it, and preparing reports for stakeholders, senior management, and other relevant parties.
- Facilitate effective communication channels between project teams, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
- Supports the identification, assessment, and management of project risks, help project teams develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor risk throughout the project lifecycle.
- Promotes and enforces project quality standards and best practices and ensure adherence to established quality processes, also conduct quality reviews, and facilitate lessons-learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of the EPMO itself, evaluate the effectiveness of EPMO processes, methodologies, and tools and make recommendations for enhancements and optimizations.
