 Key Job Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead the development of a comprehensive institutional innovation strategy that aligns with the authority&rsquo;s vision and national priorities, through analyzing the current situation, anticipating the future, identifying initiatives, aligning them with strategic objectives, and maximizing institutional impact.
 </li>
 <li>
 Design and adopt an integrated innovation framework that includes policies, procedures, empowerment tools, and mechanisms to enhance a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the authority.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review the authority&rsquo;s current situation by examining the needs of different sectors, identifying policy gaps, and determining the required effects to achieve the desired impact.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare studies to support decision-making in cooperation with relevant departments and employ quantitative and qualitative analysis tools to enhance evidence-based decision-making.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop research and analytical indicators through data analysis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate and link innovation initiatives with universities, scientific research centers, and the private sector to ensure added value and alignment with strategic goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adopt and direct employee initiatives by creating an enabling innovation environment internally, organizing activities and recurring competitions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage the innovation portfolio by tracking initiatives, developing them, evaluating their impact, and ensuring they achieve development goals and institutional benefit.
 </li>
 <li>
 Represent the authority in national innovation programs, initiatives, and related events, and participate in building strategic partnerships that contribute to knowledge transfer and institutional capability enhancement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee the development of institutional innovation governance and link it to the authority&rsquo;s priorities to ensure ideas are transformed into applicable initiatives that support institutional development and are aligned with strategic objectives.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 General Tasks:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Translate the department&rsquo;s strategy into clear operational plans, ensuring alignment with the general management strategy and the authority&rsquo;s strategic direction.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead the achievement of the department&rsquo;s operational objectives by setting individual goals, tracking their implementation, and motivating the team toward performance excellence.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead talent development initiatives within the department, in coordination with Human Resources, to ensure the availability of qualified and suitable competencies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and monitor the implementation of the department&rsquo;s operational budget and ensure compliance with financial regulations and the specified financial framework.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee the application of institutional policies, procedures, and operational controls for the department, ensuring maximum levels of efficiency and compliance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead continuous improvement initiatives for processes and practices to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and achieve optimal standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee the preparation of necessary reports and submissions in a timely manner, in line with management requirements and institutional quality standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform other duties within the scope of roles and responsibilities that support achieving the departments and authority&rsquo;s objectives.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Skills and Knowledge:

 In-depth knowledge of innovation strategy and Studies.

 Proficiency in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
