Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer specializing in Aluminum and Façade systems to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in façade engineering, with the ability to manage and execute projects from conception to completion. A valid driving license is required for this role as regular site visits and client meetings will be part of the responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee and manage the execution of aluminum and façade projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to client specifications.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical support for façade systems design, including selection of materials, installation techniques, and structural considerations.
• Site Coordination: Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is carried out as per project specifications, resolving any issues and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the design, engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Client Interaction: Coordinate with clients and contractors, providing progress updates and addressing technical queries or concerns.
• Material and Supplier Management: Manage the procurement of materials and liaise with suppliers to ensure the timely availability of necessary components for façade systems.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all work complies with local building codes, industry standards, and quality requirements.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, technical submittals, and change orders.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks on-site and implement solutions to mitigate them.
• Health & Safety: Ensure that all safety protocols are followed on site to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 -5 years of experience in project engineering, specifically in the Aluminum and Façade industry.
• Valid Qatar Driving License is required.
• Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting for façade or aluminum projects.
• Strong understanding of Aluminum and Façade systems, materials, installation processes, and related building codes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design and drafting software.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
