Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with extensive expertise in Aluminum & Glazing to oversee and manage the successful execution of high-profile projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will have over +8 to 10 years of experience in project management, including significant experience in the aluminum and glazing industry. This role requires a highly organized, results-driven professional who can manage all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. A valid UAE driving license is required due to the nature of the role, which involves regular site visits and client interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and completion of aluminum and glazing projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Leadership & Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of engineers, subcontractors, and other project staff, ensuring effective collaboration, resource allocation, and motivation to achieve project goals.
- Client Relations & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget & Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-control measures to ensure financial efficiency.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to the project timeline, cost, or quality. Proactively resolve issues and implement contingency plans when necessary.
- Site Management & Coordination: Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring that work is performed according to specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications. Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Contractor & Supplier Management: Oversee the procurement process, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services needed for the project.
- Progress Reporting: Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management and clients, including updates on schedules, budgets, and any potential issues.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring the safety of all personnel on site and adherence to local regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 8 years in the aluminum and glazing industry.
- UAE Driving License: A valid UAE driving license is required, as the role involves frequent site visits and client interactions.
- Project Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of project management principles, with experience managing large-scale projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Technical Knowledge: Expertise in aluminum and glazing systems, construction techniques, and material specifications.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, manage client expectations, and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to proactively address challenges and implement solutions.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues before they impact the project timeline or budget.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and working with cross-functional departments.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in the UAE.
- Familiarity with industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
