Job Description

Job Summary:

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the assessment and gap analysis of the condition of an existing airport control tower structure. This role involves overseeing all technical inspections, planning necessary testing, and coordinating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and the internal project team to ensure the integrity and safety of the aging building structure.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of the condition of the existing airport control tower structure, focusing on identifying structural integrity and safety concerns.
  • Manage and oversee all technical inspections and assessments related to the building's condition.
  • Plan and coordinate required testing activities to thoroughly evaluate the structural health and identify any deficiencies.
  • Prepare detailed assessment reports and inspection plans that document findings, condition evaluations, and recommendations for repairs or maintenance.
  • Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, fostering effective communication among stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring transparency and engagement throughout the assessment process.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices in structural condition assessment, structural health monitoring, and non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in civil engineering, with demonstrated expertise in assessing the condition of existing buildings; experience specifically with airport control towers is a plus.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in inspection and testing of building structures, particularly in critical facilities such as airport control towers or similar structures.
  • In-depth knowledge of condition assessment methodologies, structural health monitoring, and NDT testing techniques for concrete and steel structures.
  • Proven ability to prepare comprehensive assessment reports and inspection plans that clearly communicate condition evaluations and findings.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams effectively.
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Previous experience in airport infrastructure projects is a plus

Job Types: Temporary, Contract
