Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and services.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
  • Prepare purchase orders, requisitions, and bid requests.
  • Review and evaluate quotations to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project specifications.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and contract terms with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to understand material needs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to construction sites to avoid project delays.
  • Track and monitor inventory levels, manage lead times, and expedite orders as necessary
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, supplier contracts, and invoices.
  • Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers.
  • Knowledge of construction materials and equipment is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
