About the job

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager to support our procurement operations. If you have experience in supermarket purchasing, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of market trends, we encourage you to apply.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

- Oversee sourcing and selecting suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.

- Support negotiations on pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors.

- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences to make informed purchasing decisions.

- Work closely with the inventory and sales teams to manage stock levels and ensure product availability.

- Assist in forecasting demand for seasonal and high-demand products.

- Ensure timely procurement and follow up on deliveries to avoid stock shortages.

- Maintain and update supplier databases, purchase records, and reports.

- Provide periodic reports to the management as required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Minimum Five years of experience in supermarket purchasing or FMCG procurement.

- Strong knowledge of supermarket products, supplier networks, and industry trends.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

- Ability to analyze sales data and market insights to support purchasing decisions.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD450.000 - BD600.000 per month
