Job Description
  • Responsible for the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of the programme quality plan to ensure the delivery of works that meet the required standards and specifications;
  • Ensures that Projects constructed are as per specification;
  • Overall responsibility for Quality Control & Quality Assurance for all relevant activities within the Project Department;
  • Manage and ensure that Quality principles are incorporated and applied;
  • Identify, develop, and promote Programme and Project required Quality polices
  • Minimum of 15 years post graduate experience with experience in major infrastructure /Roads /Highways projects or programmes;
  • Expertise in the Qatar construction market;
  • Lead and manage a QA/QC team to successfully deliver the program to the required quality standards;
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the Program Quality plan;
  • Support all consultants and contractors in the implementation of Quality plans and procedures and the monitoring of their performance on all Quality matters;
  • Develop and implement audit schedules and plans, including unannounced visits;
  • Coordinate and manage any 3rd party audits as required;
  • Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large multidisciplinary projects;
  • Well-versed in quality improvement techniques, resolving issues, carrying out root cause analysis, and non-conformance investigations;
  • Technically proficient in all aspects of Quality
Mandatory Requirements.
  • University degree from a recognized University in an appropriate field;
  • Experience of working in Qatar and/or the Gulf region
  • UPDA /MME is preferable.
