QUALITY MANAGER

Job Description
- Responsible for the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of the programme quality plan to ensure the delivery of works that meet the required standards and specifications;
- Ensures that Projects constructed are as per specification;
- Overall responsibility for Quality Control & Quality Assurance for all relevant activities within the Project Department;
- Manage and ensure that Quality principles are incorporated and applied;
- Identify, develop, and promote Programme and Project required Quality polices
- Minimum of 15 years post graduate experience with experience in major infrastructure /Roads /Highways projects or programmes;
- Expertise in the Qatar construction market;
- Lead and manage a QA/QC team to successfully deliver the program to the required quality standards;
- Develop, implement, and monitor the Program Quality plan;
- Support all consultants and contractors in the implementation of Quality plans and procedures and the monitoring of their performance on all Quality matters;
- Develop and implement audit schedules and plans, including unannounced visits;
- Coordinate and manage any 3rd party audits as required;
- Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large multidisciplinary projects;
- Well-versed in quality improvement techniques, resolving issues, carrying out root cause analysis, and non-conformance investigations;
- Technically proficient in all aspects of Quality
- University degree from a recognized University in an appropriate field;
- Experience of working in Qatar and/or the Gulf region
- UPDA /MME is preferable.
