Job Summary:

We are hiring a Quantity Surveyor (QS) for our MEP Department in a reputable construction company. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works, and be capable of managing project costs, BOQs, variations, and subcontractor payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review BOQs and cost estimates for MEP systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical).
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations, payments, and variation claims.
• Assist with tendering, procurement, and budgeting.
• Monitor project costs, progress, and reporting.
• Coordinate with site engineers and project managers on material and cost control.
• Finalize monthly valuations and project close-out reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
• 3–6 years of experience as a QS in MEP works within the UAE or GCC.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS tools like Candy or CostX.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC and contract administration.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Membership in RICS or other professional QS body is a plus.
• Experience in high-rise or commercial construction projects.
