Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Reaction to Fire Manager at ACTS in Dammam. We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Reaction to Fire Manager to join our center of excellence for fire testing. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in integrating various fire testing practices and ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance across all operations.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing Fire Resistance Testing, Reaction to Fire Testing, and Fire Safety product certification processes, ensuring timely execution and adherence to established standards.
- Organizing and facilitating Fire Conferences, including yearly conferences and awareness sessions, to promote knowledge sharing and advancements in fire safety.
- Developing and delivering Fire Safety training programs and certifications to enhance awareness and competency within the organization and among stakeholders.
- Conducting Fire Safety Inspections, expanding the scope to include additional items as per accreditation requirements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Leading Fire safety technical assessments and Indicative Fire Resistance Testing projects, driving feasibility studies and implementing best practices.
- Directing and coordinating organizational activities to optimize efficiency, economy of operations, and profitability.
- Supporting daily operations to achieve organizational goals and protect and develop organizational resources.
- Ensuring commercial profitability and maximum productivity while upholding the organization's image across various activities.
- Developing and implementing organization policies and goals to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
- Ensuring competence of personnel responsible for Quality Management System (QMS) through appropriate education, training, and experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Strong understanding of fire testing principles, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management and organizational leadership.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in materials fire resistance and materials fire testing is a MUST.
