Job Description:
As the Retail Training Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing all training initiatives within our retail stores. You will work closely with store managers and employees to ensure they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales targets. Your ability to design and implement effective training programs will be key to enhancing overall store performance and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs that improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
- Lead onboarding and continuous development programs for new and existing retail employees.
- Conduct in-store training sessions and workshops, providing hands-on coaching and mentoring.
- Collaborate with the HR and Operations teams to assess training needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor training effectiveness and adjust programs based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Ensure all employees understand company policies, procedures, and brand values.
- Create and maintain training materials, manuals, and resources.
- Track and report on training outcomes, including employee performance improvements and sales metrics.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure training content is relevant and engaging.
- Support leadership in building a positive and motivating work culture through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as Retail Trainer, Sales Trainer or similar role.
- Experience in retail management, training, or learning and development
- Strong understanding of retail operations, customer service, and sales strategies.
- Proven ability to design and deliver engaging training programs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to adapt training approaches to diverse learning styles and store needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and training software/tools.
- BSc degree in Education, Human Resources or relevant field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in training and development .
- Retail management experience is a plus.
