We have an urgent requirement for Ribbon Core Engineer – Strong Telecom and Ribbon Standalone and Ribbon Core SBC experience for our telecom client based in Dubai, UAE
Strong experience in in Unified Communications and Telecommunications domain —MUST
Strong experience in Ribbon Core (Standalone and Multitenant deployments) configuration, troubleshooting, and support is THE MUST
Strong experience in Ribbon Standalone and Ribbon Core SBC Multitenant deployment is MUST

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our Operation team and become a core member supporting our Ribbon-based solutions. You'll leverage your in-depth Ribbon Core expertise to troubleshoot intricate issues, collaborate with internal teams, and drive successful customer outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Ribbon Core Expertise:
- Serve as and lead the Operation team, leading in your area of Ribbon Core knowledge.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Continuously expand your skillset by gaining proficiency in other areas of Ribbon Core.
- Advanced Troubleshooting:
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex software, hardware, and network issues escalated from Tier 1, and 2 support.
- Identify root causes, propose effective workarounds, and develop permanent solutions.
- Solution Design and Validation:
- Design and validate cross-platform solutions leveraging Ribbon Core capabilities.
- Collaboration with Vendor :
- Partner closely with Ribbon vendor to analyze intricate network issues impacting Ribbon Core deployments.
- Lab Simulation and Testing:
- Simulate real-world customer scenarios in a lab environment using relevant equipment (routers, switches, test tools) based on customer configurations.
- On-Site Support:
- Provide on-site troubleshooting and technical guidance when necessary.
- Internal Collaboration:

Foster strong relationships and become a product knowledge center for various internal departments (Product Management, R&D, Pre-Sales, etc.) to ensure efficient customer issue resolution.
- 10-15 years of experience in Unified Communications and Telecommunications domain.
- Deep expertise in Ribbon Core (Standalone and Multitenant deployments) configuration, troubleshooting, and support.
- Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Microsoft, Ribbon and AudioCodes Certified
- Responsible for designing, planning, implementing and configuration of Microsoft Teams DR and Skype for Business Enterprise Voice
- Performed multi-tenant and multi-site Teams Direct Routing deployment,
- Comprehensive understanding of ISDN, IP, UDP, VOIP, H.323, SIP, RTP and other media and signalling protocols
- Excellent knowledge of Ribbon and AudioCodes SBC and other products for Teams Direct Routing
- Expertise in Ribbon Standalone and Ribbon Core SBC Multitenant deployment and on-going technical support/maintenance
- Ribbon Core SBC Architecture, High Availability, Platform Management, licensing, Monitoring and Alerting,
- Hands on experience to configure end to end new client setups, and maintaining existing customer configs for Ribbon Core SBC
- Trunks & DID(s), PSTN Numbering, Dial plans, Call routes, custom manipulations, masking, other policies to provision calling services for customers
- Able to lead and successfully execute Interops, customizations and Integrations with 3rd party communication platforms
- Expert levels of problem solving and analytical ability to analyse complex and detailed structures
- Expertise in deep-dive trouble-shooting, and diagnostics to identify/fix faults in quick time,
- Should be well versed with diverse tools used in investigations for, e.g logs, SIP capture, headers, call Traces, call details records etc
- Effective end-to-end project planning and management from scoping to activity sequencing, effort and cost estimation, risk analysis and quality management
- Clear and effective communication across all mediums (e.g., email, conference calls, in person, written documentation, etc.)

Effective communicator & negotiator with strong analytical, problem solving & organizational abilities
- Ribbon Core Implementation and Support Professional certification (highly preferred).

Additional Ribbon certifications a plus.
