Job Title: Rigger Level 3 – Pipeline Project (NEOM Approved)

Job Responsibilities:

• Lifting and Rigging Operations:
• Perform rigging activities for lifting, positioning, and securing heavy loads as per lifting plans.
• Select appropriate lifting gear, slings, shackles, and hoisting equipment.
• Ensure safe attachment and detachment of loads to cranes and other lifting equipment.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Adhere to NEOM safety regulations and international rigging standards (OSHA, ASME B30, LOLER).
• Conduct pre-lift inspections on lifting accessories and rigging hardware.
• Report any unsafe conditions, defects, or incidents to the Lifting Supervisor.
• Communication & Coordination:
• Work closely with crane operators, signalmen, and lifting supervisors to execute lifts safely.
• Use proper hand signals and radio communication during lifting operations.
• Assist in critical and tandem lifting operations following engineered lifting plans.
• Equipment Maintenance & Inspection:
• Conduct daily inspections of rigging gear and equipment.
• Ensure proper storage and maintenance of rigging tools.
• Identify and remove defective lifting accessories from service.
• Site Operations Support:
• Assist in pipeline-related rigging tasks, including positioning and securing pipe sections.
• Support the assembly and disassembly of heavy pipeline equipment.
• Follow job hazard analysis (JHA) and risk assessment guidelines.

Requirements:

• NEOM Approval/Certification (mandatory).
• Rigger Level 3 Certification (recognized by Aramco/TUV/Lifting Authorities).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in rigging operations, preferably in pipeline or heavy construction projects.
• Knowledge of Standards: Familiarity with international rigging and lifting safety standards.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to work in extreme conditions and lift heavy loads.
• Safety Training: HSE certifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent are preferred.
• Competencies: Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
