Job Purpose:
To assist the Risk, Business Continuity & Compliance Managers with management and implementation of the QF wide corporate Risk, BCM and Compliance programs.
Key Result Areas:
- Take the lead and liaise with specific QF entities to establish and maintain Risk Registers. Verify if risk information provided is accurate and relevant to respective entity.
- Guide and support Risk Champions on addressing concerns related to their Risk Registers and or the Risk Management Information System.
- Assist the development of the Risk Department’s regular reporting requirements e.g., Senior Management, Audit Committee etc.
- Lead/co-lead the development of presentations or other material as required and support the Risk Management team in undertaking ad-hoc activities in relation to risk management.
- Carry out the development of specific Business Continuity Plans (BCP’s) through Business Impact Analysis (BIA’s)sessions and the identification of continuity strategies / interim measures (thus liaising with the relevant QF entities).
- Guide and instruct QF HQ entities and directorates with the review / update of their BIAs / BCPs.
- Identify enhancements to any BCM related documentation.
- Deliver presentations and carry-out activities to enhance awareness of BCM.
- Create and initiate Compliance training deck, in collaboration with Compliance specialists and head.
- Facilitate and manage relationship with RACA (Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities for Risk & Compliance directorate. Ensure QF’s domestic charitable activities’ license is maintained.
- Assist compliance specialists in undertaking ad-hoc activities. Maintain whistleblowing system and tracking sheet.
- Facilitate and conduct trainings for QF entities for Risk, Compliance and BCM departments.
- Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor or by the Managers of Risk, Business Continuity or Compliance as required.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant field & 2-5 years of relevant full-time work experience.
- Excellent Analytical skills with ability and confidence to provide guidance and awareness for developing risk registers, action plans and related metrics.
- Very good time management skills is organized and practical.
- Ability to work under pressure and commit to deadlines.
- Excellent Ability to showcase a high level of integrity and commitment.
- Ability to work in multi-cultural environment and in teamwork setting. Strong emotional intelligence and cultural awareness / sensitivity and discretion required.
- Excellent Ability to navigate and be an administrator to the multiple systems in the Risk & Compliance Directorate (Core, Continuity2, Refinitiv, Convercent, Meridian, Power BI).
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. As well as presentation and analytical skills
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
