Purpose
The Design Consultant is responsible for setting appointments, meeting with customers in store and to determine design needs in the selection of tile, wood, stone, and installation products of various colors textures, patterns, and design. Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements<ul><li>
One (1) year of interior design experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company and prior retail sales experience preferred</li><li>
Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus</li><li>

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to noisy.</li></ul>

The Design Director in The LINE Design team will lead and manage the design of different assets related to The Line. The Creative Design Director for THE LINE Design team will oversee the design quality of neighborhood master plans and architectural designs for THE LINE Module 46.  The Design Manager is responsible for leading and managing the design team to deliver high-quality and innovative design solutions that align with the company's brand and objectives. This role involves overseeing the design process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that design projects are completed on time and within budget.

 Lead, manage, and mentor a team of architects, designers, and other creative professionals providing guidance, feedback, and professional development to foster growth and excellence within the team.

 Plan, organize, and prioritize design projects to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and coherence across all design projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and prioritize multiple design projects simultaneously, assigning tasks, setting timelines, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and approve design concepts and deliverables, providing constructive feedback and ensuring they meet the established quality standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as a key point of contact with clients, understanding their design aspirations and need.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in the creative ideation process, driving innovation and pushing the boundaries of design to create unique and impactful solutions.

 Monitor and evaluate the performance of design projects, analysing results and gathering insights to continuously improve the effectiveness of design strategies.

 Ensure that design solutions comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field.

 Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in design leadership and project management roles, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.

 Proven track record of delivering high-quality design solutions that align with client expectations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills to inspire and guide the design team and engage with clients.
 </li>
 <li>
 In-depth knowledge of design principles, architectural concepts, and industry trends.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in design software and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with regulatory requirements and building codes related to design.
 </li>

 Professional licensure as an architect or designer is typically preferred.
