 Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Talent &amp; Culture is a team builder and supports all leaders and colleagues within the hotel, ensuring company policies, operating and service standards are followed, colleague engagement is high and financial goals are met. The Director of T&amp;C will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, initiatives, activities, and staff of the Talent &amp; Culture department, ensuring legal and labour compliance and implementation of the mission and talent strategy.

The Generalist also supports day-to-day HR initiatives and activities. Travel across the various CTC clinics and to any off-site events will be required.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage full life-cycle recruitment efforts including but not limited to: sourcing, interviewing, advertising, verifying state licensing and professional certifications, onboarding and additional follow-up after hire.</li><li>Manage and implement the execution of CTC&rsquo;s talent acquisition strategy and execution of event-based recruiting, job board management, social media marketing, and word-of-mouth promotion.</li><li>Execute relationship-building with colleges and universities to allow expansion of CTC&rsquo;s recruiting pool.</li><li>Ensure that every company position has an updated and accurate job description; create with input from department leaders as needed.</li><li>Understand CTC&rsquo;s competition and maintain and effective strategy to stay highly competitive.</li><li>Oversee flow of communication between all departments seeking talent.</li><li>Apply proven methods (online recruiting, grass-roots campaigns, etc.) to identify, attract, and facilitate the hiring of qualified and diverse education professionals.</li><li>Provide exceptional quality service to new applicants throughout the hiring process.</li><li>Participates in and leads initiatives to improve recruiting approaches to ensure the successful delivery of talent.</li><li>Responsible for communicating issues or potential issues that affect recruiting (i.e., unusual number of candidates declining positions due to salary, hours, schedules, etc.)</li><li>Learn thoroughly the details of the benefits and policies to better educate candidates.</li><li>Track metrics for all recruiting activities and provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the HR Manager, HR Director, Director and Executive Director.</li><li>Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.</li><li>Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.</li><li>Serve as a resource to employees across the company.</li><li>Assists in the maintenance of HR databases, employee records and files.</li><li>Assists in benefits programs such as health, dental, vision, Simple IRA, PTO/PMLA and FMLA.</li><li>Participates in internal and external audits, as needed.</li><li>Conducts employee exit interviews, as needed, and provides the feedback HR Director and Director.</li><li>Support in maintain Pediatric provider relationships on an as-needed basis.</li><li>Additional responsibilities within the HR realm as they arise.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Must be willing to travel to all CTC locations (Midland, Lansing, Traverse City and Grand Rapids) and to any off-site recruiting events.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office</li><li>Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.</li><li>2-3 years of HR Generalist (or similar role) experience.</li><li>Experience with Indeed, LinkedIn, social media platforms, and other recruitment sites.</li><li>Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems, and candidate management systems.</li><li>Must be professional but approachable with excellent judgement in working with diverse levels of staff.</li><li>Sense of humor and ability to have fun are a bonus!</li><li>HR is a serious game, but we don&rsquo;t take ourselves too seriously.</li></ul>This is a full-time, on-site position that offers Medical, Vision, Dental, and 401k, among our benefits.
