<p>As a Human Resources Manager, you are responsible for providing first-class employee relations services to the hotel to deliver an excellent staff experience. A Human Resources Manager will also be required to manage succession planning and assist the HR Director with strategy. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:</p>
<ul><li>Provide and deliver first-class employee relations services to the hotel</li>
<li>Assist Human Resources Director with Human Resources strategy</li>
<li>Manage succession planning with senior managers during the bi-annual appraisal process</li>
<li>Manage employee relations issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinaries, grievances, and capability</li>
<li>Support managers to ensure success of their teams</li>
<li>Ensure recruitment and selection process is adhered to and ensure that appropriate immigration checks are carried out</li>
<li>Support the hotel with departmental training requirements</li>
<li>Ensure completion of management reports for head office and region</li>
<li>Control costs when possible and assist in meeting hotel/departmental financial targets</li>
<li>Ensure pay reviews/absence monitoring/wage queries are managed in line with company guidelines</li>
<li>Ensure completion of training for hotel security, fire regulations and other health and safety legislation</li>
<li>Work with local organisations and schools to promote the hospitality industry</li>
<li>Assist and resolve team member and management queries</li>

The Human Resources Manager will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and procedures.</div>

<ul><li>Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and safety certifications.</li>
<li>Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.</li>
<li>Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.</li>
<li>Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.</li>
<li>Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.</li>
<li>Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.</li>
<li>Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.</li>
<li>Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.</li>
<li>Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>
