 Responsible for pre &ndash; award activities including bid invitation preparation, processing queries from bidders, preparation of bid evaluation programmes, evaluation of bids, negotiation, preparation of Recommendation for Award, contract preparation and award formalities in accordance with Client Project Gate System and procedures

 Responsible for post &ndash; award activities including conducting kick &ndash; off meetings, coordinating all contract submittals and correspondence, preparation and processing of variation orders, claims and close out;

 Manages the drafting of Invitation to Tender packages for contracts for large O&amp;G facilities projects. Review and, if necessary, proposes comments on and propose alternative text/clauses to client contract conditions;

 Reviews issues with legal, risk management, tax, and accounting personnel as a condition precedent to submitting to management for approval.
 </li>
 <li>
 Functions as a part of a negotiating team consisting of project management staff, to establish the terms and conditions of a contract.
 </li>

 Monitors and ensures the business provisions of assigned contracts are administered to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions. Keeps the Projects Contracts Manager advised as to the scope, financial, and risk features of applicable contracts.

 Ensures documentation to negotiate change orders are properly produced and maintained.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepares letters to clients requesting approvals and interpretations necessary to comply with the provisions of the contract.

 Ensure project/facility acceptance documents are prepared and are followed through and that acceptances are signed by the client.

 Furnishes business and financial information requested by the client concerning the project, as delegated by the Project Manager.

KBR&rsquo;s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Projects Contracts Manager for 5-year PMC contract for the supply of Programme Management services with Kuwait Oil Company. The contract serves to support KOC to achieve its objectives of reaching optimum capacity in its oilfields and enhancing its facilities by the most efficient and economical means available.
The contract aims to provide project management, co-ordination, planning, design, engineering, construction management, contracting, procurement, project controls and other services for construction of new oil field facilities, up-grading of existing facilities, and transfer of technology.
Primary Objectives
The Projects Contracts Manager is permanently assigned to the Project&rsquo;s commercial and contractual management. A comprehensive knowledge of the principles governing all terms and conditions of contracts, Company contracts policies, and the Company industry, are prerequisites.
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Responsible for preparation of tender packages for Assigned Projects for the Client approval in Client's Model Contracts format and layout.</li><li>

<div>The Aircraft Mechanic III (UH60) performs the full range of military tactical aircraft maintenance and maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of complex to extreme difficulty.<div>
<ul>
<li>Maintain and repair aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components.</li>
<li>
Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation.</li>
<li>
Apply professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals.</li>
<li>
Make entries in aircraft logs and records, and responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to lower-level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts.</li>
<li>
Plan, conduct, and supervise aircraft technical inspections.</li>
<li>
Compute basic weight and balance records.</li>
<li>
Participate in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required.</li>
<li>
Ensure compliance with aircraft configuration control, Army oil analysis Program and test measuring diagnostic equipment calibration.</li>
<li>
Provide lower-level technicians guidance in aircraft repair and technical inspection techniques and procedures according to directives, technical manuals, work standards and operational policies.</li>
<li>
Prepare evaluations, special reports, and records pertaining to aircraft maintenance repair and related activities.</li>
<li>
Perform other duties as requested.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Completion of high school or equivalent and U.S. military technical school or specialized training course is desired, certification of education level is required.</li>
<li>
Five (5) or more year&rsquo;s aviation maintenance experience within the past six (6) years on the mission design series UH-60 (MDS).</li>
<li>
Experience in maintenance, modification and repair of tactical aircraft systems of the type being serviced and their associated components.</li>
<li>
Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization**NAC-I T1 Public Trust.. Note: US Citizenship is required for a facility credentials/authorization at the work location.</li>
<li>
Must be able to obtain Kuwait PCC &amp; Visa</li>
<li>
Must be able to pass CENTCOM Medical requirements.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Valid FAA Airframe &amp; Power plant (A&amp;P) License for mechanics and Sheetmetal experience is preferred.</li>
<li>
Valid FCC Elements 1 and 3 licenses for electricians and/or FAA Airframe &amp; Power plant (A&amp;P) License is preferred.</li>
</ul>
Knowledge &amp; Skills
<ul><li>Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts.</li>
<li>
Broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair.</li>
<li>
Basic knowledge of electrical theory and a thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers.</li>
<li>
Working knowledge of technical publications and Logistics Information Systems.</li>
<li>
Able to prioritize workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects and is required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks.</li>
<li>
Participate in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required.</li>
<li>
Possess the level of experience to inspect all required aeronautical type maintenance to be performed by Mechanics.</li>
<li>
The incumbent receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks, and may be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records.</li></ul></div>
