Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Estimator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for joinery and fit-out projects, analyzing project requirements, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and client requirements.

· Conduct material take-offs and quantity surveying for all joinery components.

· Analyze project specifications and liaise with designers, architects, and project managers.

· Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

· Review and interpret tender documents, contracts, and BOQs (Bills of Quantities).

· Develop cost breakdowns and pricing strategies to optimize project profitability.

· Identify potential risks and suggest cost-effective solutions.

· Assist in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.

· Maintain updated cost databases and pricing trends within the industry.

· Collaborate with procurement and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution.

· Participate in pre-tender and post-tender meetings with clients and stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

· Minimum 10 to 15+ years of experience as an Estimator Engineer / Manager.

· Strong knowledge of materials, techniques, and production processes.

· Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, joinery details, and technical specifications.

· Excellent understanding of cost estimation, tendering processes, and BOQ preparation.

· Proficiency in estimation software such as PlanSwift, AutoCAD, or similar tools.

· Strong negotiation and analytical skills with attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

· Experience working on high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality fit-out projects.

· Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
