We are seeking a Compliance Lead with extensive experience in regulatory frameworks, particularly within the cryptocurrency sector.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing compliance programs that align with industry regulations and best practices.

This role requires a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and the ability to navigate complex legal requirements in the crypto space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the compliance function within the organization, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and standards related to cryptocurrency operations.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the company's operations, adapting compliance strategies as necessary.
• Collaborate with internal teams to conduct risk assessments, compliance audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors, managing communications and inquiries effectively.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters, fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
• Develop frameworks for transaction monitoring and reporting, ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks associated with new products, services, and markets within the cryptocurrency space.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CAMS, CRCM) is a plus.
• Proven experience in compliance roles, with a strong emphasis on regulatory bodies and frameworks within the cryptocurrency industry.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, including AML, KYC, and data protection laws.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable compliance strategies.
