Job Title: Software Engineer Lead

Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering

Qualification summary: Plutus21 Capital is looking for an experienced Software Engineer Lead with 3-5 years of experience in IT and possessing skills in Java, Python, NodeJS, AWS, leadership, and project management. The successful candidate should hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering.

Years of experience: 3+ years 

Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Responsibilities:

• Understand customer requirements and project KPIs
• Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Plan the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities
• Manage stakeholders and external interfaces
• Set up tools and required infrastructure
• Define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for team operations
• Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project
• Troubleshoot and fix code bugs
• Monitor processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and update or create new processes for improvement and minimizing wastage.
• Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management, incidence management and root cause analysis
• Coordinate and communicate within the team and with customers
• Mentor and guide the team members
• Monitor and measure customer experience and KPIs
   

Skills:
 

• Proficiency in Java, NodeJS
• Basic understanding of Micro Services Architecture, AWS, Serverless 
• Strong leadership skills, including team motivation, decision-making, and problem-solving.
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to review and optimize code, implementing quality assurance measures.
• Dedication to improving development processes and automating where possible.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, including risk assessment and security implementation.
• Effective communication, both technical and non-technical, for team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
