Job Description

Examining patients and ordering diagnostic tests.
Analyzing patient symptoms and test results and making a diagnosis.
Prescribing treatments, developing treatment plans, and coordinating with other doctors to treat or manage side effects.
Using various methods of treatment, such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, stem cell transplants, radiation therapy, and surgery.
Leading a treatment team of other physicians and healthcare workers.
Counseling patients and family members and promoting the well-being of patients and their long-term survival.
Maintaining patient records.
Conducting clinical, transitional, and science-based research in order to remain up to date and to find new ways to treat cancer and blood disorders that possibly lead to a cure.

Post Graduate of approved Medical School with a valid license to practice Pediatric Oncology.
Certification by the American Board of Pediatric Oncology or equivalent U.K. certification Member of the Royal College of Physicians (PAEDS).
At least 3 years as a full-time Pediatric Oncologist, after residency training.
Must have a thorough knowledge of medical ethics, with particular reference to the obligation to maintain the confidentiality of his work; personality which inspires confidence and trust in his patients; and adhere to Bylaws, Rules and Regulations of the Medical Organization.
Current licensure in country of origin and with DOH /DHA / MOH license to practice in UAE.
Excellent command of oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic language is desirable but not essential.
Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with co-workers, superiors, patients & families.
