Position: Specialist IT Support
Location: Lahore

Summary

Specialist IT Support at Systems Limited will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support for our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware or software faults.
  • Manage Active Directory, setting up new user accounts and profiles, and addressing password-related issues.
  • Resolve issues related to macOS and Windows 10/11 generated through the support ticket management system.
  • Provide support to office staff or remote site staff through a series of actions, either in person or remotely, to set up systems or resolve issues.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple open support tickets and emails simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies.
  • Solid understanding of IP addressing schemes, Domain, Active Directory (AD), TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Collaborate closely with network engineers and system administrators to address complex issues and implement improvements.
  • Gather user feedback to identify recurring issues and suggest enhancements to IT processes and systems.
  • Onboard new joiners according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Availability on rotational shifts 24x7.

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
    • 2-3 years of relevant experience in IT support.
    • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and IT troubleshooting methods.
    • Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and/or Linux operating systems.
    • Experience with common IT support tools (e.g., ticketing systems, remote desktop tools).
    • Familiarity with hardware components, peripheral devices, and mobile devices.
    • Knowledge of network protocols, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and VPNs.
    • Immediate availability is preferred.
