Proto IT Consultants is a growing technology company focused on delivering innovative digital solutions across industries. We are seeking a detail-oriented, automation-savvy SQA Engineer to enhance our quality assurance efforts through scalable and reliable automated testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Automate test cases for UI, backend services, and API layers.
• Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to define acceptance criteria and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
• Analyze test results, report bugs, and work with the team to ensure timely resolution.
• Continuously improve test automation frameworks, tooling, and QA processes.
• Maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.

Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation for web and mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of test automation frameworks, scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or Java), and automation best practices.
• Proficiency in tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, TestRail, and JIRA.
• Experience in API testing (REST/SOAP) with automated tools like RestAssured, Postman, or similar.
• Knowledge of performance/load testing and scripting test scenarios.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and SDLC best practices.
• Basic understanding of programming environments such as Flutter and Node.js is a plus.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Appium for mobile automation.
• Exposure to containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Understanding of test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) frameworks.
