Job Description:

Euro Systems is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) with a strong background in façade and aluminum systems. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring cost efficiency, contract compliance, and budget control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation & Budgeting

• Estimate material, labor, and overall project costs for façade and aluminum systems.
• Prepare detailed cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for value and competitiveness.
• Work with project managers and engineers to forecast costs and monitor expenditures.

Quantity Surveying

• Perform quantity take-offs from architectural/engineering drawings.
• Prepare BOQs (Bills of Quantities) and rate schedules for procurement and tenders.
• Liaise with vendors for pricing and procurement strategy.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with favorable terms and pricing.
• Assess and manage variations and change orders.

Cost Control & Reporting

• Track actual project spending vs. budget and identify variances.
• Implement cost control strategies to enhance profitability.
• Provide timely and accurate cost reports, forecasts, and recommendations.
• Support value engineering initiatives to optimize project outcomes.

Contract Administration

• Administer contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and third parties.
• Ensure compliance with payment terms, deliverables, and performance metrics.
• Handle claims and disputes, following contract terms and company policy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of QS experience in the façade and aluminum sector.
• Strong knowledge of take-off, estimation, and contract administration.
• Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
