
Job Title: Sr.Site Structure Engineer

Project: Management and Construction Supervision of a 65-Floor High-Rise Building
Project Duration: 60 Months
Job Summary:
Seeking a highly experienced and motivated Sr. Site Structural Engineer to oversee and manage the structural aspects of our high-rise building projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and compliance of the project from inception to completion. This position requires a strong technical background in structural engineering, extensive experience in high-rise construction, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all structural engineering activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, and designs, ensuring accuracy and constructability.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve design issues and ensure seamless integration of structural elements.
- Monitor and inspect the progress of structural work, ensuring compliance with approved plans and specifications.
- Identify and resolve any structural issues or discrepancies that may arise during construction.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team, including resolving queries and offering solutions to complex structural problems.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess the quality of workmanship and identify potential risks or hazards.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports on structural activities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and environmental policies.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers, providing guidance and support to their professional development.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical input on structural matters.
- Review and approve material submissions, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with third-party consultants and inspectors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain high standards of structural integrity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in structural engineering.
- Preferred: Postgraduate studies and advanced professional certifications in a related area of expertise.
- Mandatory: Proven experience in high-rise building projects (minimum of two similar high-rise projects).
- In-depth knowledge of structural design principles, codes, and standards.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and design tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience working on international projects is highly desirable.
