Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect all incoming materials:
  • Verify the quantity and quality of all deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Inspect materials for any damage or defects and report any discrepancies.
  • Organize and store materials in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage and theft.
  • Utilize appropriate storage methods to protect materials from the elements (e.g., rain, sun, etc.).
  • Maintain a clean and organized storage area.
  • Accurately track all material issuances and maintain detailed records.
  • Ensure that materials are issued only to authorized personnel with proper documentation.
  • Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate inventory reports.
  • Monitor material usage and identify any potential shortages or overages.
  • Assist with the preparation of material requisitions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for material deliveries.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures on the construction site.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the storage area.
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns immediately.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role on a construction site.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, inventory management software).
  • Excellent communication (English & Hindi) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have Gcc experience .
  • Must Gcc valid driving license.
