Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Student Finance Manager to join our team and oversee the financial services provided to students. This key role involves managing student recurring fees, annual tuition, and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations. As a Student Finance Manager, you will play an integral part in supporting both students and the institution through financial management and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all student finance activities, including tuition fees, recurring payments, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations governing student recurring payments and tuition systems.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, analyzing and interpreting financial data for stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain systems to manage student accounts, resolve discrepancies, and track payments.
• Communicate complex financial information to students, parents, and staff in an accessible and understandable manner.
• Address financial queries and issues related to student accounts and assist students in understanding their financial responsibilities.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments, refunds, and adjustments for student accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial systems, reporting processes, and student finance procedures.
• Lead and manage a team of finance professionals to ensure the efficient operation of student finance functions.

Requirements:

• Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree in finance, business management, or higher education administration is preferred.
• Experience:
• Several years of experience in financial management, particularly in recurring, accounting, and financial reporting.
• Prior experience in student finance, financial systems, or education finance is highly preferred.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and overseeing financial planning and reporting.
• Core Skills:
• Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and prepare complex financial reports.
• Proficiency in student finance systems and financial management tools.
• Solid understanding of regulations governing student recurring payments and tuition fees.
• Problem-solving skills to address discrepancies in accounts and assist with financial challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial matters clearly to students and staff.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation and reporting.

Technical Proficiency:

• Proficiency in financial management software, including but not limited to Excel and ERP systems.
