Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate, and energetic Team Leader to join our premium waterproofing company. The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation, deal-closing, and leadership skills with a proven track record in sales. This role requires a professional with a background in sales (preferably in waterproofing or construction), excellent communication abilities, and the capability to lead a team in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential clients, converting cold leads into warm prospects.
  • Sell waterproofing solutions to businesses while demonstrating the value of our premium services.
  • Negotiate and close deals effectively, ensuring long-term client relationships.
  • Handle and motivate a team of 4+ sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales staff, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the waterproofing and construction industry to provide informed solutions to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering background will be a plus).
  • Minimum 4-5 years of sales experience (experience from the UAE and/or native country is acceptable).
  • Passionate, energetic, and highly motivated.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and convincing skills in English (mandatory).
  • Strong deal-making and closing abilities with a proven sales track record.
  • Ability to lead a team and take on leadership responsibilities in the future.
  • Valid UAE driving license (Mandatory).
  • Professional attitude with a strong personality and presentable appearance.

Job Description

  • The Team Leader will serve as the technical expert and liaison between the sales team and customers, providing technical expertise, product knowledge, and support throughout the sales process. Reporting to the BDM, the Sales Executive will play a critical role in understanding customer needs, articulating product capabilities, and driving sales growth through solution-based selling.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's waterproofing services, systems, and solutions, including their features, benefits, applications, and performance characteristics. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to building waterproofing technology and construction materials.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to achieve sales targets, expand market presence, and maximize revenue growth. Identify target market segments, customer profiles, and business opportunities for sales expansion and market penetration.
  • Identify and engage with potential customers, such as Facility Managers, Maintenance Managers, Maintenance Engineers, Building Owners, Developers & Contractors to understand their waterproofing needs and requirements.
  • Conduct on-site visits, inspections, and assessments to evaluate existing waterproofing systems, identify problems or deficiencies, and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer surveys to gather insights into market trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning. Maintain / ensure confidentiality.
