Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in bookkeeping, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain accurate financial records and assist in the preparation of annual accounts, particularly for UK-based clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate and efficient bookkeeping to maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Prepare annual accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Draft and manage correspondence, including letters and emails, as required.
  • Assist senior and junior team members with financial tasks and queries.
  • Address and resolve accounts-related queries promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct account reconciliations and monitor customer account details.
  • Collaborate with international clients and manage accounts for global companies.
  • Maintain honesty, integrity, and a high level of work ethics at all times.

Requirements:

Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience working with UK-based accounts and tax regimes (preferred).
  • Prior experience using accounting software such as Xero, Pandle, and QuickBooks (preferred).

Skills:

  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to assist and support team members effectively.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
