Job Purpose:

• Responsible for loading and unloading incoming and outgoing flowers and accessories. This includes counting, sorting, and checking items.
• Verify items against order forms and invoices to ensure accuracy.
• Properly store items on floor shelves and in cold rooms to maintain quality and accessibility.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

The job involves working in a Cold environment, loading and unloading flowers and accessories, inspecting inventory, applying barcodes, checking quality and quantity, separating items, storing them in cold rooms, assisting with deliveries, coordinating dispatch for customers, loading items into vehicles, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of inventory.

• Load and Unload Inventory: Physically load and unload the Flowers and Accessories from the vehicle.
• Inspect Inventory: Physically verify the quantity and quality of the items against the PO / Invoice / checklist generated
• Bar-coding: Stick barcode on the boxes and inside the individual items
• Quality Check: Check the quality and quantity of the items are as per the requisition
• Separation: Segregate the items as per normal and special orders
• Transfer: Store the items in the Zero one cold room and special orders cold room
• Delivery Assistant: Check the quality of the products and take it out of cold rooms as and when directed by the inventory in charge and keep them in the designated area.
• Dispatch: Coordinate the dispatch for daily walk in, regular, online and retail customers.
• Assist in loading the items in a vehicle
• Maintain accuracy of all counts
• Perform other duties as and when assigned
