LOCATION: Raymond, WA. Position based in nearby Satsop.

SALARY RANGE: $27-$33/hour based on interview outcome and qualifications

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Warehouse Technician with active forklift certification to join our fast-paced team. This role is pivotal in upholding crustacean shell quality and shell inventory accuracy through efficient material handling, sample collection, and quality control procedures. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in both independent and team-based environments.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Operate and work within our Mission Driven Culture Core Values and Principles.
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to unload, transport, and organize crustacean shell inventory.
• Screening crustacean shell to desired size.
• Collect representative crustacean shell samples for Quality Control (QC) processes.
• Perform moisture testing on incoming and stored materials per standardized protocols.
• Label and document new inventory accurately upon arrival at the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.
• Follow all operational procedures with precision and consistency.
• Communicate quality concerns or inventory discrepancies to QC and inventory teams.
• Work independently while contributing to a supportive team atmosphere.
• Other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift certification with hands-on experience in a warehouse setting.
• Keen attention to detail and dedication to accuracy.
• Strong time management with the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
• Highly organized and process-oriented mindset.
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn moisture testing procedures.
• Comfortable following SOPs and working under supervision.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• CDL License (Preferred not required).
• Inventory Management: Proficient in tracking and managing stock via manual or digital systems.
• Shipping & Receiving: Understanding of logistics procedures for inbound/outbound shipments.
• Safety Compliance: Adheres to warehouse safety protocols; promotes a culture of safety.
• Problem Solving: Resourceful in resolving inventory, labeling, or equipment issues.
• Communication: Clear, professional communicator with team members and supervisors.
• Adaptability: Flexible and effective in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

Licensing & Special Requirements

Incumbent is subject to a criminal background check.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended durations.
• Willingness to work in warehouse conditions, including varying temperatures and dusty environments.
