With our recent store expansions and ecommerce platform, we are focused on scaling our retail and online channels &ndash; all whilst maintaining a strong design aesthetic, exceptional in-store, and customer focus.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a proactive, results-driven Website Manager to lead the day-to-day management and optimisation of our Shopify ecommerce site. You will be responsible for maintaining a high-performing, on-brand, and customer-friendly site while driving conversion and commercial outcomes through website merchandising and technical improvements to the website&rsquo;s front end functionality, product database and back end processes. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of ecommerce best practices, a strong grasp of Shopify and its ecosystem, and a desire to shape the digital experience of a fast-paced fashion business.
Work Schedule/Location: This role is fully remote. The contract is for 10-20 working hours per week following a more intensive set up period (20-40 hours per week for 2-4 weeks) during which the website will need to be audited and technical improvements planned and executed to elevate the website to a higher operating standard.
RESPONSIBILITIES
So, what will I be doing every day?
<ul><li>Manage the day-to-day performance, maintenance and usability of the Shopify website.
</li><li>Conduct weekly site audits to identify bugs, gaps, or opportunities for improvement.
</li><li>Oversee the upload and enrichment of new product launches, including descriptions, images, categorisation and tagging.
</li><li>Merchandise the website using tools like Nosto to drive product discovery and personalisation.
</li><li>Launch brand-led promotional campaigns and seasonal updates across the site.
</li><li>Maintain website-related content and product data using the Shopify back end as well as a product information management system.
</li><li>Report on key website metrics, identify actionable insights and ensure that KPI targets are exceeded on a weekly and monthly basis.
</li><li>Optimise website architecture focusing on PDP (Product Detail Pages) and PLP (Product Listing Pages).
</li><li>Audit and implement SEO best practices across content, meta data, image optimisation and page speed.
</li><li>Implement UX enhancements such as back-in-stock alerts, upselling, and cross-selling modules.
</li><li>Maximise the website&rsquo;s UX using out-of-the-box functionality built into the website theme and keep abreast of theme changes and improvements.
</li><li>Set up and optimise Shopify email triggers and flows to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency.
</li></ul>JOB REQUIREMENTS
<ul><li>3&ndash;4 years&rsquo; experience managing a Shopify ecommerce website, ideally within fashion or retail.
</li><li>Strong understanding of ecommerce UX, CRO (conversion rate optimisation), and SEO best practices.
</li><li>Proficient working with Shopify themes and third-party app integrations.
</li><li>Experience using ecommerce tools such as Nosto, Klaviyo (or similar email automation platforms), and PIM systems.
</li><li>Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask across deadlines.
</li><li>Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate into action.
