After-School Counselor

CITG Community House After School Program!

Are you energetic, responsible, and passionate about mentoring youth? We are looking for enthusiastic After-School Counselors to join our team for the upcoming school year!

What You'll Do:

• Lead & Inspire: Set up and participate in, playing games with the children, arts & crafts, and leading a safe and structured classroom enviornment.
• Support Learning: Assist students with homework.
• Mentorship: Act as a positive role model, fostering a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment.

Position Details:

• Hours: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Perfect for students or anyone seeking part-time work!)
• Location: CITG Community House at 15 Borage Pl. Forest Hills, 11375
• Pay: $17/hour
• Start and End Dates: The position starts at the beginning of the school calendar Thursday September 10th, 2026.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least a Senior in High School and be of proper working age.
• Previous experience working with children (camp, babysitting, tutoring) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a high level of energy!

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
