Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Title: AI Consultant / Engineer — Contract, Remote (Project-Based Pilot)

About the role:
We're a B2B SaaS company selling software to automotive dealerships. We're looking for an AI consultant to run a focused, paid pilot project — evaluating and/or building AI-driven features or workflow automation for our platform and internal operations. This is a contract engagement, not a full-time role, with potential for ongoing work if the pilot succeeds.

What you'll do:

• Scope and deliver a defined AI pilot (e.g., automation, AI feature prototype, or workflow tooling — details discussed in interview)
• Work async with occasional live syncs across time zones
• Provide clear documentation and a recommendation on next steps/scalability

What we're looking for:

• Demonstrated experience shipping AI/ML or LLM-based features — not just familiarity with tools
• Portfolio or case studies of past implementation work (required — please include links)
• Strong async communication skills; comfortable with limited overlap hours
• B2B SaaS experience a plus; automotive industry knowledge a bonus but not required

Engagement structure:

• Fixed-scope pilot (2–4 weeks), with clear deliverables agreed upfront
• Compensation: [your rate/budget — hourly or fixed project fee]
• Based anywhere; strong preference for candidates who can share verifiable past work
